Course Description
Interior design is the process of conceptualizing space and of creating commodious and expressive interior environments which enhance the quality of life and contribute to the health, safety and welfare of society. The practice of interior design integrates the aesthetical and the cultural with the functional and the technical to provide design solutions that respond to human needs. Interior design gives shape and meaning to the spaces that we inhabit and in so doing enriches our lives. Interior designers advance creative designs for commercial, institutional and residential spaces and respond to the design challenges in the healthcare, entertainment and hospitality industries.
Training Unit Objectives
- Identify the needs of faculty members and their assistants from different training courses annually.
- Determine the needs of the administrators and technicians of the College of different training courses annually.
- Determine the training needs of graduates of the College in different fields annually.
- Provide proposed training plans for all target groups within and outside the college.
- Implementation of training courses for all targets.
- Evaluation of the implemented training courses.
- Issuing bulletins and periodicals on the services provided by the unit.
